Now Hiring - Manufacturing Inside Technical Sales Representative in Bozeman, MT

In a fast-paced, problem solving, team environment, the Technical Sales Representative participates in all functions associated with the customer service department including but not limited to: quickly responding to all customer requests for quotes, providing and coordinating technical support for customers, interfacing with manufacturing and materials departments to provide on-time, first class service to customers.

Successful candidates will have the following abilities:

• Clear, concise communication skills, both written and oral
• Close attention to detail; ability to maintain focus on detailed work despite interruptions
• Strong customer advocacy while working in the company’s best interests to meet specific goals or requirements
• Demonstrated working knowledge of basic manufacturing and machining capabilities and/or aptitude to learn
• Mathematics knowledge and skills (basic geometry, trigonometry, algebra) and/or aptitude to learn
• Optics or other technical background preferred, especially knowledge regarding uses and specifications of common infrared crystal products
• Ability to work as a team member with other departments to meet customer requirements
• Desire to contribute toward continuous improvement of the company
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s Degree or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong proficiency skills with ERP software and Excel or aptitude to learn
• Successfully pass pre-employment drug test and background check
